   After looking over the different genres we came down to three contenders- mystery, thriller, and romance. And to do a quick recap our pitch is "A girl struggles to realize the blurred lines between fiction and reality." So now that you are all caught up we were thinking that everyone was going to do the same which is horror, so we fell on the idea of a romance film. And I know you may be thinking about how could that work with our pitch. BUT, we thought it could be a story of a girl being delusional and going crazy over a lover. We later realized it is a lot closer to thriller or mystery than romance. Since there isn't a happy ending. And just in case you forgot the actual story of our film is still in the works but we know we want to surround it with a person going insane, to spread the danger of not caring for a mental health issue. So going through the genres and ideas let us come to our final decision- but before I tell you let me walk you through the thought proce

 

 

 

pitch 1: A girl realizes her best friend might not be as innocent as she seems. pitch 2: A girl struggles to realize the blurred lines between fiction and reality. pitch 1-  We are interested in the first pitch because the concept itself is remarkably interesting . When hearing about the project , we all first went to this idea. There are also certain circumstances tha t make this filming easy. We believe one member of the group has a house in which would be perfect for this idea. . We all discussed our roles in this film , which makes us more interested in acting in it.   pitch 2- We are interested in the second pitch because there are so many ways this story can be portrayed. This idea has several ways it can be execu ted . Not only this, but it is far more interesting to us then the first. This story includes real world problems which can include insomnia, and other mental illnesses. Making us more intrigued. We chose the second pitch  because we prefer this pitch, and it is

   Hello. Welcome back!  For this year's project, I will be working with a mix of old and new peers. I will still be working with Harley. Whom I completed my last year's projects with. Me and Harley worked with two other students, Natalia Sorbo and Marlo Toomer. However, due to circumstances we are no longer working with them. I've worked extremely well with Harley, and when put together we make an amazing pair. With my editing and acting skills, and Harley's camera work were able to create great productions. However, this year we have a new addition to our group, Franchesca. I've known Franchesca for a little over a year now. I'm extremely excited to allow her into our newly formed group. Harley was the one who introduced her into our group, as she admired her work ethic. She also thought Franchesca would be a great fit for our group.    Hello! I am so excited to see you back, and I look forward to my ability to continue this class. When looking back at my intro blog from last year, not much has changed. My name is Omnia Fahmy, and I still love reading, hanging with friends, and skating. However, one change about me includes my favorite book, and favorite author. My new updated favorite author is Evelyn Hugo, and my favorite book is "Daisy Jones and the six." My go-to genres for reading have also changed, I enjoy reading non-fiction, thrilling series.
