Hello welcome back! My music video used many conventions, Aswell as facing some challenges. My music video displayed the song "You belong with me" by Taylor Swift. While editing my music video, I had to screen record the song on YouTube, which I then applied over the video. This was slightly challenging in the audio genre, as I had to match it up perfectly. Many social issues were presented in the music video Aswell, to represent modern day dilemmas. For example, my music video represents the stereotypes that you see in modern day high schools. In the music video, it shows a "Mean girl" who is popular, and a bully. Aswell as a "nerd" who is nice and gets bullied. I had slight trouble conveying this in the music video, as I had to find the perfect props to fit my character.    My product can convey a real connection with audiences as it is very relatable. My music video shows how people who are less popular get treated. Essentially like an outcast and le

Hello, welcome back to yet another blog! Me and my group filmed on December 8th, to the song "You Belong with Me", by Taylor Swift. A common, and very important tool I used during filming was makeup. Although very subtle, me and my group used Makeup to display our characters personalities. As stated before, my character was the "Good Best friend." I was acting to be a "nerdy" and "geeky" character. In order to present this character, I used extremely subtle make-up. I did very minimal mascara, and just a bit of ChapStick. I used these subtle products to fit my character. As for Marlo, she played a character that was "popular" and "mean." In order to display this character, she used eye makeup and lip-gloss. Stereotypically, this is the kind of makeup used on girls who are more "popular" and "girly." On Natalia's use of make-up, she also went on the subtle and safer side. A bit of mascara was used, a

Hello, welcome back! As stated previously, me and my group filmed on December 8th. My group filmed our music video to a song by Taylor swift, "You Belong with Me." A big factor that played a major role in filming was our lighting. Throughout the music video, I changed up the lighting. This lighting consistently changed as we changed settings. In the first scene, Harley filmed in a room with blue Led Lights. This essentially made the room blue, to give the vibe more of a teenager feel. I felt this was the best option, as our characters were based on teenagers. In the next scene, the lighting is more neutral. This displays how my characters is feeling. It also showed how my characters personality is, based on the lighting of their room. In the next change of scenery, I used a movie room. This change of lighting displayed how the characters were comfortable and hanging out in a safe setting. The lighting here was a bit darker and was lit up by artificial lighting. As the scen

Hello welcome back! As stated previously, me and my group filmed on December 8th. Clothing was a big factor when filming. I had to get the outfits just right in order to play the characters perfectly. My outfit consisted of a t-shirt paired with an orange sweater vest. Some accessories used included Harley's glasses and a specific hair tie to tie my hair back. This outfit overall was used to portray a "nerdy" and "geek" character. While also displaying and fitting the role of the "good best friend" Marlo's outfits on the other hand, consisted of miniskirts and crop tops. She wore a hot pink top paired with a black mini skirt in the music video. Marlo used this outfit to convey your stereotypical mean girl. While also playing the "mean best friend" character. Natalia on the other hand, stuck to about one outfit. It was more on the neutral side to best fit her character. It was a gray zip-up hoodie, and it was paired with jean shorts. I

Hello, welcome back! On December 8th, me and my group filmed for our music video. I went over to Natalia's house after school. For the first couple scenes my group used Natalia's room and her guest room. This showed the two-way call between Marlo and Natalia. In this scene they were arguing over the phone on beds. The next couple scenes show me picking up a call from Natalia while I'm working. I used Natalia's brother's room for this scene. After this scene, I show an over the shoulder shot of Natalia's phone, reading "wanna hang out tomorrow??" After this, there is a scene of me and Natalia hanging out together. I used Natalia's movie room for this scene to film. Harley then used an over the shoulder shot of Marlo walking into the movie room. The scene after this shows Natalia leaving me for Marlo. Any further scenes used took place in the guest room, and Natalia's brother's room. During filming, some props I used include a sweater vest

Hello, welcome back! as we talked in the last production blog, me and my group will film on Thursday. After school, me, Marlo, Harley, and Natalia will all go over to Natalia's house. I will carpool with Natalia's mom's car. I will bring a change of clothes with me in my backpack. The clothes I will bring include mis-matched, old clothes. I will also borrow Harley's glasses during filming as a prop. Another prop my group will use during filming is white boards. I plan to use these to write on them, with words such as "I'm sorry" and "I miss you." Marlo will also bring two extra changes of clothes in her school backpack. These clothes consist of crop tops, miniskirts, and clothes consisting of your stereotypical high school mean girl. My group will create this music video based on the song "You Belong with Me." This song is by Taylor Swift, a trendy pop artist. I will use whiteboards during filming because that is what Taylor uses duri

Hello, welcome back! On December 8th, me and my group will begin filming for our music video. Over the past week however, I have been out sick. This made it harder to communicate with my group on filming dates and plans. On top of that, Natalia no longer has her phone, which also interferes with our set plans. I did have to adjust some things, but I did end up communicating properly to make everything right. I plan to film with my group, this Thursday, at Natalia's house, after school. Harley will use Marlo's iPhone to film for the music video. As a guide, I will use the storyboard when in the process of filming. This will help me to know how to plan out scenes. My role in this music video will to be the "good and nerdy best friend." Marlo will Play our "evil" best friend during this music video. And Natalia will play the "neutral" best friend, who is essentially stuck in the middle. Harley's role in this music video will be the camera person/
