Hello welcome back! My music video used many conventions, Aswell as facing some challenges. My music video displayed the song "You belong with me" by Taylor Swift. While editing my music video, I had to screen record the song on YouTube, which I then applied over the video. This was slightly challenging in the audio genre, as I had to match it up perfectly. Many social issues were presented in the music video Aswell, to represent modern day dilemmas. For example, my music video represents the stereotypes that you see in modern day high schools. In the music video, it shows a "Mean girl" who is popular, and a bully. Aswell as a "nerd" who is nice and gets bullied. I had slight trouble conveying this in the music video, as I had to find the perfect props to fit my character.

My product can convey a real connection with audiences as it is very relatable. My music video shows how people who are less popular get treated. Essentially like an outcast and left out by society. This engages audience and hooks them in if they feel a connection with a character. I put this into my music video, as I feel there isn't enough representation when it comes to this issue. This could be distributed in real media text on social or streaming websites. Such as, YouTube, TikTok, TV shows, etc. By distributing this in real media text, it can be widespread to reach many struggling teens. Teens who feel like outcasts and feel like they are treated differently by society due to their looks/ intelligence. Overall, I engaged with my audience by showing them they aren't alone if they are feeling outcasted.

My production skills developed throughout this music video through many different aspects. For example, my editing skills progressively increased throughout the production. I found many ways to line up audio, and visuals to match. I also found ways to use different split screen effects to add more emotion into the music video. Another way my production skills increased is through acting. When playing my character, I told myself to feel like I AM my character. To feel like I am an outcast, who is nerdy and always used as the second choice. By doing so, I added much more emotion into my character, Aswell as the production. Lastly, a way my production skills developed throughout this production is working with my group mates. I found ways to communicate proficiently with my group members, even when I didn't agree with them. Overall, I developed many different production skills, which increased my way of producing my music video.

I integrated the main way of technology into my music video. This was Marlo's phone, in which my group used to film. The brand of this phone is apple, in which is a high-quality technology company. Because of this convenience, filming went much smoother and faster. My phone was used to edit the music video. I used an app called cap cut. Using this, I downloaded audio to my phone and uploaded it to overlap the music video. I also used my phone to make visual edits Aswell, such as split screen, video crops, and zoom-ins. Using my phone was extremely helpful when editing, as I was able to do everything I needed in a simpler way. Filming on Marlo's iPhone made filming clearer, almost more focused and centered. Overall, without using technology such as phones, apps, and other usages, the music video would not have been put together.
